Just Chuck of The People

I am Chuck.. a singer/songwriter. Music has long been a passion of mine, and keeps me sane. As far as singing and songwriting, I've been doing both since i was like 12, and i also model. I havent had as much professional experience as I would've liked, but I think this project'll fix that right up.. I'm eager to get in the studio and display my talents to make some great music with the rest of The People..

Sierra of The People

I began singing when I was three. At that age I lived with my grandmother and was heavily influenced by the music I heard her jamming to on the radio. Sade, Anita Baker, and bands like Incognito was just the tip of the musical iceberg. Throughout elementary and middle school I participated in school plays and talent shows finding my niche in mostly R&B and Gospel music. In high school, I joined Mosaic and was in Mumford’s small ensemble. I received high rankings at various choir competitions and my passion for music was elevated even more. Music has always been apart of my life and it always will be.

VIBES of The People

 

VIBES: experimental beatmaker/producer/sound creator from Detroit, Michigan. I began making music around the age of 13 years old. I received software formerly known as fruity loops or FL around that time. I dabbled here and there with that, then later on in high school, i started using Reason 4 and 5 and started developing my sound ever since then. My inspiration varies from mainstream producers such as: Dr. Dre, Pharrell, Timbaland, and Polow Da Don all the way down to underground producers such as: J Dilla, Flying Lotus, Afta-1, Ras-G, Black Milk, Devonwho, Onra, and Dibiase, and J1, and also Detroit native 14KT. I'm inspired by all things. Love, friends, other creative people, and outer space lol. I try to make music that you can groove to, as well as be healed by, and something that you can listen to and hold on to for a very long time. Mike Young of The People

I started writing when i was about 10 years old, started getting good around 16, and have been getting better since. My favorite rapper is Jay-Z;my inspiration for my music is life, and everything I observe in it. I'm working on a collections of freestyles, the title is still in the works, but look out for it! -The People in it!

Brieana of The People

Brieana from Detroit, MI. When i was 5 i first found music & began singing..i wrote my 1st song at 10.. been writing ever since. Willing to collab, and if needed can write my own parts! At almost any oppurtunity i sing at shows & events & ill  be doing american idol in the future!

I'm Titan. Some may know me as the God of Thunder. I'm from everywhere. I'm saxophonist, pianist, visual artist and writer. I'm also an emcee and producer with 2 releases: The Gold, and The Tainted Angel Christmas (beat) EP. I've been rapping since 2006 and it became a serious thing in 2008. DeVonte McDay, an untitled unsigned artist straight out Of Detroit, Michigan. I started writing raps when I was in the 7th grade, but originally was a singer. After seeing I could do both as well as dance, I started to showcase these talents throughout my high school career and am currently majoring in theatre. Genisis of The People

I'm Gen, a 17 year old MC, who was born and raised in the city of Detroit on the west side where I grew up seeing many things a young child shouldn't. I didn't start writing music until I was 11 and went to the studio to when I was 14. From that point on it has been history. 2 mixtapes in, one was rarely heard of that achieved the minor thing it was meant to do which was help him put my foot in the door and show he had talent. The second got me noticed more and actually blew up doing moderately well, outshining its predecessor. I'm preparing to release a mixtape with partner Lil Ray Ragin which is dropping March 20th and working on my third mixtape titled D.O.P.E. ( Doing One Person Everyday)

Lyric of The People

I be's Lyric, a hard-working MC hailing from Detroit, MI. I've always been a fan of hip-hop ever since I was a little kid. My dad used to bang artist like Redman, Wu-Tang, Biggie, 2Pac, and Das EFX in our home, while my mother to played artist like Lauryn Hill and D'Angelo so I've has always been around good music. After years of being an admirer of music, at the age of 16, in February of 2009 when, I bought my first microphone and attempted to write my first song for my girlfriend's birthday, singing an R&B track. The song featured two raps by me , gaining positive feedback for the raps but negative for the singing. This gave me the idea to improve my rhymes and start a career as a emcee. I completed 2 mixtapes before exposing his music to anyone. I then posted a song on the website Facebook to test my skills. Before long, I gained a surprising number of positive comments and love for the song. This launched the passion to better my music with everyday that passes. Since then I've released 14 mixtapes and has over 1,000 downloads of mixtapes. This Detroit emcee is now 18 and ready for anything that comes at him.

Mare, writer and budding producer for the People. I'm an extensively talented individual, although I prefer to work behind the scenes.
