I began singing when I was three. At that age I lived with my grandmother and was heavily influenced by the music I heard her jamming to on the radio. Sade, Anita Baker, and bands like Incognito was just the tip of the musical iceberg. Throughout elementary and middle school I participated in school plays and talent shows finding my niche in mostly R&B and Gospel music. In high school, I joined Mosaic and was in Mumford’s small ensemble. I received high rankings at various choir competitions and my passion for music was elevated even more. Music has always been apart of my life and it always will be.
