I be's Lyric, a hard-working MC hailing from Detroit, MI. I've always been a fan of hip-hop ever since I was a little kid. My dad used to bang artist like Redman, Wu-Tang, Biggie, 2Pac, and Das EFX in our home, while my mother to played artist like Lauryn Hill and D'Angelo so I've has always been around good music. After years of being an admirer of music, at the age of 16, in February of 2009 when, I bought my first microphone and attempted to write my first song for my girlfriend's birthday, singing an R&B track. The song featured two raps by me , gaining positive feedback for the raps but negative for the singing. This gave me the idea to improve my rhymes and start a career as a emcee. I completed 2 mixtapes before exposing his music to anyone. I then posted a song on the website Facebook to test my skills. Before long, I gained a surprising number of positive comments and love for the song. This launched the passion to better my music with everyday that passes. Since then I've released 14 mixtapes and has over 1,000 downloads of mixtapes. This Detroit emcee is now 18 and ready for anything that comes at him.
