I'm Gen, a 17 year old MC, who was born and raised in the city of Detroit on the west side where I grew up seeing many things a young child shouldn't. I didn't start writing music until I was 11 and went to the studio to when I was 14. From that point on it has been history. 2 mixtapes in, one was rarely heard of that achieved the minor thing it was meant to do which was help him put my foot in the door and show he had talent. The second got me noticed more and actually blew up doing moderately well, outshining its predecessor. I'm preparing to release a mixtape with partner Lil Ray Ragin which is dropping March 20th and working on my third mixtape titled D.O.P.E. ( Doing One Person Everyday)
